Border to Border Geomatics Inc. is a rapidly developing firm that focuses on spatial information (i.e. information that has a location). The location is the primary factor used to integrate a very wide range of data for viewing and analysis. We apply engineering principles to spatial information and implement relational data structures involving measurement sciences, thus using geomatics and acting as spatial information engineers. We manage local, regional, national and global spatial data infrastructures. We also involve aspects of Computer Engineering and Civil Engineering. For Border to Border Geomatics, Geomatics Engineering is a modern discipline, which integrates acquisition, modeling, analysis, and management of spatially referenced data, i.e. data identified according to their locations. Based on the scientific framework of geodesy, it uses terrestrial, marine, airborne, and satellite-based sensors to acquire spatial and other data. It includes the process of transforming spatially referenced data from different sources into common information systems with well-defined accuracy characteristics.
