Are you a Senior looking for a home?  Do you still want to be independent but cannot live by yourself?  Do you want to be a part of a ‘family’ where you live?
If you answered yes to any of these questions then we have the home for you.   We are offering Room and Board for a Senior looking for those things.  But this is not just your standard room and board, what we are offering you is a place in our home which will include:
 

  • Your own furnished Bedroom (or you can bring your own items if you wish), including Queen size bed, Armoire, TV and Telephone
  • Your own full bathroom – has large walk in shower
  • Access to all parts of the house (family room, living room, rumpus room, kitchen, laundry, full backyard)
  • Groceries – we will plan and cook family meals, you can join us or help yourself to whatever you wish to eat, when you wish to eat
  • Satellite TV
  • Computer with internet
  • Hot Tub off back yard deck
  • Washer/Dryer
  • And a loving family of 3 + (Husband/Father (61), Wife/Mother (49) and Son (8)), a dog and cats.

We live in Stony Plain in a large 5 level spit home that is close to all amenities including walking paths, the Senior’s center, downtown and more. 
Everything is included in the monthly rent, all you need to do is supply your personal care items and anything food related that you want special for yourself.

We want whoever lives with us to feel like this is their home as well and to have the security of knowing they are not alone.  You will be able to maintain your independents, come and go as you please while always being able to be a part of our family activities. 

We do have pets so you must like dogs/cats….and if you happen to have a pet yourself, we can discuss if we can incorporate them as well.

We are asking $1200.00 a month for everything, no hidden costs but we are looking for a long term commitment.

Available December 1st, 2012, or can discuss earlier if required.
